WHAT DID WE DO?
We successfully organized and conducted these capacity building sessions on wet waste management. The sessions were designed to be interactive and informative, providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of wet waste management strategies. The audience included the State Mission Director for SBM, Chief officers for ULBs, and technical experts, and decision makers and influencers working across Swachh Maharashtra Mission Unit.
OUTCOME
The sessions were highly successful, reaching around 60 attendees. These attendees were equipped with valuable information on wet waste management strategies, which they can apply in their respective fields. This knowledge dissemination is expected to contribute significantly to the reduction of wet waste going to landfills. Thus, the project not only enhanced the capacity of key stakeholders but also paved the way for more sustainable waste management practices.
