INTENT
The Capacity Building Training program focused on enhancing the skills and knowledge of government officials at three levels—Chief Officers, Technical Staff, and Field Staff—to strengthen their roles in effective Solid Waste Management (SWM). The program, aligned with the National Capacity Building Framework, covered key areas such as financing operations, circular economy principles, behavior change communication, and sanitation practices. The project scopes to provide training to around 382 COs crafted as one module for two days, 1120 Technical Staff crafted as two modules of one day each and around 30,000 field staff crafted as three sessions of four hours each.

WHAT DID WE DO?

OUTCOME
This initiate supports SDG 17 (Partnership for goals) where we have strenghten the means of implementation and revitalize the partnership for sustainable development and SDG 8 (Decent work and economic growth) while undertaking upskilling of field workers and SDG 13 (Climate Action) where topic like implementation of circularity and other aspects discussed along with preparation of district level implementation plan.
