A detailed survey mapped generation, handling, and informal flows of dry battery cells. Based on insights, a structured segregated collection system was developed and linked to a technology partner for scientific processing.

Over 500 kg of dry battery waste was diverted from unsafe disposal and processed responsibly. The project improved awareness, strengthened environmental compliance, and established a reliable pathway for hazardous waste management.
