We supported research activities focused on quantification and characterisation of municipal solid waste in Nagpur and Nashik. The study analysed waste streams to understand generation patterns and system gaps.

The research created a strong knowledge base to guide municipal decision-making and planning. Insights from the study support landfill diversion, resource efficiency, and the transition toward more sustainable waste-management practices.
